Spring is just around the corner and I am so ready for some Spring sewing. We have lots of gorgeous new fabrics and patterns to share with you, all coming to the site soon. A Spring blouse is a great project to get us in the mood for the new season while we wait for those temperatures to warm up. A blouse is usually a relatively quick, easy sew in a lot of cases and more importantly it is great for transitioning between seasons because it can be worn with trousers or jeans and layered with a cardigan and jacket or coat on colder days and worn with a skirt or shorts once things warm up.

There are so many blouse sewing patterns to choose from so I've chosen my five favourites, which are tried and tested and linked below together with any fabrics I shared. They include designs by the Friday Pattern Company, Butterick, McCall's and Simplicity. There's a super easy sew with jersey fabric and the rest are for woven fabrics. I've included a range of necklines and sleeve designs too plus some lovely fabrics you could sew them up in.

I also think blouses are a great way to feel a little more put together when dressing more casually. A smarter look than a T-shirt, but just as comfortable. You can use fun prints and bright colours to lift your mood with a bit of endorphin dressing and tone them down with jeans and neutral cardigans and jackets.

There are full reviews of all of these Spring blouse patterns on my channel and I've linked to them below in case you would like a closer look and to hear more about the construction of them.
