This video shows how to install and set up a Smart Pie edge or Magic Pie hub motor on a standard bicycle to make it into an electric bike. You will need some basic tools to perform the install including a cassette puller. If you want pedal assist, you will also need a crank puller and a bottom bracket removal tool. The job should take 2-3 hours for an average person to complete and is not too difficult.
