Hey guys! This week I took a quick adventure to Nevada to check in on two mining towns I've wanted to go to for a while. Gold Point, Nevada and Goldfield, Nevada. Both were important mining towns back in the day. Both provide inspiration and ideas on my efforts at Cerro Gordo.

On the way back, I stopped by the Bristlecone Pine Forest, home to the oldest trees in the world! It was a nice day off the mountain that gave me all sorts of new ideas.

I'm rapidly coming up on my 1-year anniversary of being at Cerro Gordo full-time! I'm putting a lot of work into a recap video and can't wait to share that with you in a few weeks.

I really appreciate all the support for this channel and the town. It's really made this past year up here special. Thank you.
