It is a scene during the performance of one of the three major Tohoku festivals, the “Akita Kanto Festival”. I never knew about the Akita Kanto Festival, but when I went to the Akita Kanto Festival, I felt it was a very wonderful festival. It was a fun and exciting event for everyone who participated in the festival and everyone who was watching it smiled. You can see that it is an important intangible folk cultural property. I definitely want to go to the Akita Kanto Festival again.
