Is your steering getting weak in your IH 706-1466 tractor? Steering is typically the first noticeable thing to go when a weak pump is toiling your main hydraulics. This pump provides hydraulic pressure for the power steering, brakes and TA.
If it ever seems like your steering comes back to life and is good to go after several minutes with the tractor running, it is a good indication that your multiple control valve pump is getting weak.
Its not a bad idea to check your hydraulic filter at this time to.
