On December 1, 2023, the Buckley Institute hosted its Thirteenth Annual Conference at the Omni New Haven Hotel in New Haven, CT, this year recognizing the 75th anniversary of the publication of Richard Weaver’s Ideas Have Consequences.

In this panel, The New Criterion’s Roger Kimball, First Things’ R.R. Reno, and Reason’s Stephanie Slade discussed “The Indoctrination Machine: News Media, Entertainment, and Weaver’s ‘Great Stereopticon.’”
