I was really missing my kayak on this trip. Here I explore Mermet Swamp Preserve in southern IL. This place is a real treat and I will be back. :)

Boating is allowed on the lake but refer to their website for additional information. I corrected myself later in the video but the wind cut out the sound. This location is really beautiful and I am looking forward to spending more time out here.
