We find ourselves driving through the beautiful historic town of Wellington in the Winelands area.
We have to go through Wellington to get to Bain's Kloof mountain pass. The pass was opened in 1854 and is 18km's in distance connecting with the town of Ceres. The pass was constructed by engineer Andrew Geddes Bain.
No trucks are allowed over this pass as the roads are too winding and narrow.
