Lake Mapanuepe (New Zealand of Zambales)
Tara na at umiwas muna sa magulo at toxic na buhay dito sa Maynila🏕🏕

* Travel duration: 4-5 hrs. from Manila
* Lahar trail to the campsite takes about 30-40 mins.
*You’ll be needing a tour guide after reaching San Marcelino, you’ll get lost if not.
* One of the roughest rides I’ve ever experienced! It was fun with Gaspol Boys, tho.
* Roads to the lake are only passable via 4x4 vehicles, 4x2 vehicles with higher ground clearance, and motorcycles.
* The driver needs excellent driving skills to pass these roads.
* If you don’t have the vehicles mentioned above, you can reach the lake via boat ride which your tour guide can arrange for you.
* We stayed at what they call Phase 2. Fewer campers. It's a walking distance from the common CR.
* Toilet and shower rooms are available.
* There's no signal/electricity at the campsite.
* It has a sari-sari store, too!

The view was breathtaking. It was all worth it!
