If you're interested in expanding your blues guitar solos past the pentatonic and blues scales, the dorian mode is the best place to go next. In this video, I go into a bit of the theory behind the dorian mode, and go through some things I like to do when using it to solo.
Keep an eye out for part 2 of this series, where I'll go through a full solo (including a downloadable tab) that showcases the dorian mode.
