Let’s make some soap! Ya’ll have been wanting to make some soap with me, so that’s what we’re going to do! Come along as we make this fairly simple, traditional bar of soap!

Liquid & Lye Portion:

10 oz cold distilled water
3.8 oz lye (sodium hydroxide)
1 teaspoon salt (optional)

Oil & Pine Tar Portion (30 ounces total):

18 oz olive oil
7.5 oz coconut oil
1.5 oz castor oil
3 oz pine tar

Optional Essential Oils for Added Scent:

0.75 oz cedarwood essential oil
0.5 oz lavender essential oil
