While driving through the neighborhood, I noticed an overgrown lawn with a city citation posted on it. Curious, I knocked on the door, but no one answered. As I was heading back to my truck, a man with a mower pulled up and asked if I was planning to mow the lawn. I said yes, explaining that I just wanted to keep the area tidy. He mentioned that he used to mow it, but the lady who lived there hadn’t called him this year. Later, a neighbor informed me that the homeowner had sadly passed away, and no one had been maintaining the lawn. I decided to mow it for free, and the neighbor was incredibly grateful.
