Since 1934 Pautzke Bait Company has been dubbed the "Pioneers of Trout Fishing in North America". Our world famous Balls O Fire salmon eggs have been responsible for millions of anglers catching their first fish and continue to keep pace in the trout, salmon and steelhead industry. To date more than 90 million jars have been sold.

Our Ellensburg, Washington based company has been family owned since 1934 and continues to take pride in America made products. While we can't unveil the entire Balls O Fire egg cooking process for secrecy reasons we invite you to take a tour of a portion of our egg cooking operation -following owner Casey Kelley and Director of Operations Chris Shaffer through the assembly lines where more than one million jars are produced annually. Many of these employees have taken pride in working to ensure the utmost quality egg for up to 40 years.
