A dreamy and elegant wedding held on the beach in La Jolla, San Diego, Ca.

I had a blast working with this couple. The day was full of belly laughs and love. We shot the getting ready and first look at the iconic Grand Colonial Hotel. Then the Bride and Groom were picked up in a 1951 Rolls Royce Wraith and driven to the ceremony on the beach in La Jolla.

It was such perfect weather for a beach wedding and everyone could feel the love in the air.

It was extra special being able to document the traditional Persian ceremony and honey exchange. During the ceremony a canopy is draped over the head of the Bride and Grooms while married couples rub together sugar cones above the canopy. The sugar granules that rain down symbolize showering the newlyweds with the sweetness of their love.

What a day!
