Today's video is about how to work with a horse's feet who either hasn't had it done very much or doesn't cooperate very well having it done.

Sometimes picking out your horse's feet or even just picking up his feet can be a real hassle if you haven't worked on it enough. However, there are times when it has to be done even though your horse does not want to cooperate.

This video shows you how to position yourself in a relatively safe way to pick up the feet and stay safe if your horse moves or jumps around in the process. It also shows how to build your horse's confidence in this process so that he can calm down and be more cooperative.

Of course it is always a good idea to keep up on your horse's training and practice picking feet often so it is not an issue. However, life gets in the way sometimes and maybe you find yourself without the time or whatever and all of a sudden you have to tend to your horse's feet for whatever reason and he doesn't want you to mess with them. This video will show you how to go about it in a relatively safe manner even when your horse wants to jump around.

Have fun, and be safe!
