Back in 1966 Sara Carter as she was living so far from her family sent tapes back home and she sent one to Johnny Cash joking her voice could go as low as his in a powelful gospel song called "Father On" he was so moved by this he got Sara to come out of retirement to record a new album with Maybelle and her son Joe in place of A.P who had died 6 years earlier, she recorded this song in the studio for the new album and wow! her voice is as strong and powerful as ever even after she retired long ago.
