Research on a submerged Neolithic bridge in a cave on Mallorca that was thought to date to the Naviform period, has yielded a much earlier date of around 6,000 years ago. Not only does this change the date of the bridge, but it also pushes back the timeline for the human occupation of Mallorca by more than a millennium. In this video I discuss this research, as well as an analysis of copper pollution at the ancient Khufu harbour in Egypt and the direct and indirect evidence for the use of skin boats in Neolithic Scandinavia.
