Attending the Annual Forum on Religion and Sustainable Development 2022 in Bali, Director General of Islamic Community Guidance being one of the panelist on "Urgent Rescue Effort for the SDGs - Unpacking Conclusions of the Sustainable Development Goals Report 2022 and Localising the 'Decade of Action' Using a Diverse Lense" discussion topic.

Focusing on the role of Religion Actors in achieving the SDGs 2030 Agenda, Kamaruddin Amin said, "For the past few years, religion actors has done many things in helping Indonesia achieving SDGs. How they've been convincing those who still in contra and rejecting the Family Planning (Keluarga Berencana) Program, using religion language and quoting from the Quran and Hadits about it and the community eventually followed."

Director General also explained about the distribution of Zakat from Baznas could change the social status in the community from poor to live a better life.
