God regarded as real Jews those who were truly circumcised in their hearts through faithful adherence to God's law (Romans 2:25, 26), rather than those who were merely circumcised outwardly. Hence, the keeping of God’s law is the genuine circumcision that qualifies man to be called a Jew spiritually.
The faith that rejects doing the works of Abraham (Genesis 26:5) does not validate the claim of being his descendants and the chosen people of God.
