Hi

This car came to me wit not working reversing lights.
The car had a short circuit on the system, that was resolved, but still no reversing lights.
So, what happened was, that the ignition was cycled more that 50 times with the short circuit present, so the FRM module (the module that controls all the lights in the car), disabled the circuit, in order to prevent any further damage.
Theoretically that means the module needs replacing, although using BMW tools, we can reset the short circuit count, enabling the module to turn on the circuit again.
That is what I am going to show you in this video.
In order to perform this, you need BMW tools installed, including Toolset32.
