Situated on the edge of the parish of Santa Maria Maior with the parish of Meadela, this Convent is located on a slope of the Santa Luzia mountain range, oriented to the Southeast, in an isolated location and at 130 meters of altitude. This location in a necessarily isolated place follows the option of an eremitical perspective, widely practiced at the origin of the Order, by the so-called Observant way, defender of a rigorous daily experience of austerity and poverty, having, however, come to change, with the passing of time.
