In todays video, I will take a head board found on the side of the road and turn it into a bench.I hope this upcycle project will inspire you to repurpose something that may be cast away and forgotten. 

List: Head and foot board (FREE/ found on the side if the road) 
         Construction: 1X2”s cut to size for the seat support
                               1x4 & 1x6 board cut to size for the seat
Paint:  White: bulls eye 123 plus primer interior/exterior
            Black:  Sherman Williams high-gloss black         
Stain: Minwax, dark walnut
Polyurethane: clear satin 
Chalk Couture stencil: “There is no place like HOME sweet HOME”
Chalk Couture paste,  Colors: black, teal
