What is yearning? A young and beautiful bride longing for her lover or the maestro for the elusive note? The poet says that just as the singer is faced with the two Madhyams in Yaman Kalyan so also the bride - the carnal love or the Eternal love of the Almighty? The music, poetry and the nritya have been kept minimalistic yet elegant to match the mood of the raag Yaman Kalyan and the poem itself is called “Shuddha Madhyam”.
