Fann Mountains are one of the most scenic regions of Tajikistan. The mountains are famous for their beautiful lakes surrounded by snow-capped peaks. The highest point is Chimtarga peak at 5489 meters. The nearby Lake Kulikalon is located at an altitude of 2800 meters above sea level. The lake is fed by meltwater from the Chimtarga glacier.
