We visited some quite unexpected places on Day 11. As I was Googling the Korean names for the Hanbat Arboretum and the Daejeon Insect Life Center, I was surprised to see how Hanbat Arboretum looks like outside of the winter season. But it is equally stunning in winter as well, as you will see my awe and enthusiasm in the subsequent videos 😃

A hidden gem we found after walking through the park, the arboretum and the insect life center were quite unexpected as we didn't have these on our to-visit list and chanced upon them while walking around. CH went into the arboretum while I waited outside, I'm not the biggest fan of plants 😅

The insect life center was REALLY cute, it reminded me of all the specialty museums that I used to see on Korean variety shows back in the day, the ones that are mostly informational and interactive, sometimes catered to kids. This was quite interesting as well since there were live bug specimens that were thankfully, behind closed glass panels 😥 Except for the end where you can see CH fearlessly touching the big beetles which for some reason were in the open?? I have seen those things fly so I'm surprised these were just out there for people to touch...
