This third generation Lexus IS 500 was launched in 2013. It has receive a couple of mid-cycle refreshes but it still has its powerful 5.0 litre naturally aspirated V8 engine. It generates 472 hp at 7,100 rpm and 395 lb-ft of torque at 4,800 rpm. Its 8-speed AI automatic transmission can launch it from 0-60 in 4.4 seconds. These ICE engines won’t be in new car showrooms for much longer so we should enjoy them while we can.
