Ingredients


Tomato-1kg
Kashmiri Chilli powder-1/4tsp
Pepper Powder-2pinch
Cloves-3
Cinnamon-small
Sugar-6tbsp
Salt-
White Vinegar-3tbsp
Water-1cup

Method

Wash tomatoes thoroughly. Cut them into medium pieces.

Put them in the pressure cook along with cloves, cinnamon and water.

Pressure cook for 4 whistles in medium flame.

Then switch off the flame and allow to cool ..
Open the cooker and remove the cloves and cinnamon.
Make a fine paste of cooked tomatoes along with water.
Take a heavy bottomed big kadai, pour the puree into that.
Add sugar ,chilli powder ,pepper powder ,vinegar and salt ..
Mix well and cook in medium flame till the sauce become thick and coat on back of the spoon ..
It will take minimum 25-30 minutes.
Check the taste and adjust accordingly .
Switch off the flame and allow to cool .
Now transfer to clean airtight container and keep in the fridge .
So the tasty and easy homemade tomato ketchup is ready .
