In this video we shall take a look at the controversial Vice-Admiral Sir Robert Calder. He achieved an important strategic victory in 1805 which was doomed however to live on in the shadow of the Battle of Trafalgar. He even faced court martial as he was accused of not having done his utmost to destroy the enemy fleet completely.
