hey, so if yall are curious about why there's a mix of footage between the stream and the initial reaction, I kinda had an epiphany when listening to this album. I realized that my first reaction to anything is usually based in shock and awe value, and as fun as that is to watch - I just don't feel like that's challenging me anymore as a creator. I'm sure y'all can tell but I really enjoy editing and making jokes around editing. Even if I love the album on first listen, inevitably I'm gonna listen to it a second and third time, and each time I listen the images of the music just get clearer and clearer. Certain lines catch me more, the dance moves imprint on me and I start to think about jokes and skits around some of the lyrics and stuff. All things I try to include in the first reaction editing but definitely miss because of the nature of that first reaction. In my videos I really just wanna entertain and have fun with WHATEVER I'm doing, and editing the best version of how I feel about an album or movie is what makes me the proudest in my content. So no, the streaming video with chat is not my first reaction but in my eyes, I think it's just as valid (if not more valid) as my real thoughts towards the music. Hope y'all understand 💞
