We never know what to expect. We always hope for easy cut and release scenarios, but sometimes we have to deal with very painful and technical situations. First of all, gill nets are illegal in Namibian waters, and secondly, they're irresponsibly being discarded into the ocean. It was a huge relief to finally rescue this seal, but the entanglement shouldn't have happened in the first place! 🦭
