The victim of Friday’s shooting at the Tukwila Costco has been identified as a 67-year-old woman.

According to the King County Medical Examiner’s Office, Yuam Ming died from a gunshot wound to the chest and her manner of death is homicide.

Tukwila police said Friday that the suspect who shot Ming fled the area in a white SUV, but investigators have not said anything publicly since.

Police did not respond to questions from KOMO News on Monday—including whether investigators believe Ming was targeted or possibly the victim of a robbery, whether the vehicle used was stolen in a carjacking in Seattle, and whether police have photos or videos of the suspect.

2:34 The King County Sheriff's Office confirmed Monday they recovered the stolen vehicle of a cab driver who was murdered outside of Southcenter Mall earlier this month.

Deputies said they recovered the vehicle in the Redmond Ridge neighborhood, an unincorporated area of King County, before handing it over to Tukwila police. Neighbors in the area told KOMO News the vehicle had been in the neighborhood for several days.

The vehicle belonged to Nicholas Frank Hokema, 34, who was found dead in the parking lot of the Southcenter Mall shortly after 4 a.m. on Jan. 15. Tukwila police began investigating the case as a homicide.
