本芸能は近世江戸時代初期(1600年代)に愛知県から移住してきた領主により伝えられ、地域の神社に豊作祈願のため奉納される芸能です。戦後消滅寸前だったところ、昭和４５年に地域の古老の指導により復活し、毎年４月１９日に奉納されるようになりました。踊りは勇壮で衣装は華麗、賑やかな舞が特徴です。特に女性による舞であることと、歌詞のある舞（奥山）が特徴であります。

This is a performance by "Shitakawara Koma Odori" . This performing art was handed down by a lord who migrated from Aichi Prefecture in the early edo period(1600s AD), and is dedicated to a local shrine to pray for a good harvest. It was on the verge of extinction after the WW2, but was revived in 1970 under the guidance of local elders, and is now dedicated every year on April 19. The dance is characterized by bravery, splendid costumes, and lively dancing. Especially, it is characterized by the dance by women and the dance with lyrics (Okuyama).
