Well, what should I cook for lunch today, I’ve been thinking since early morning? You can't go without something hot! A couple of seconds - and you have an idea! I want lentil soup, and I’ll enrich it with delicious meatballs! Considering my family’s preferences, I’m sure they will definitely like it! And in the refrigerator there is everything for such a soup!
My recipe is not a law, because not everyone likes, for example, zucchini. Replace this ingredient with potatoes if desired. This soup is a wide field for the imagination of housewives!

To prepare this soup you will need:

- a saucepan or saucepan with a double bottom. In this container I put 1 tablespoon of fat (lard, butter, or vegetable oil - whatever you like)

- For meatballs:

- 400 grams of minced pork
- 1 onion
- salt to taste
- ground black pepper.

For frying:

- 1 onion
- 1 carrot
- 0.5 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 0.5 teaspoon khmeli-suneli
- 1 glass of tomato juice or 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
- 180 ml. (poured into a glass) lentils

- water or broth, or broth + water
- frozen zucchini (or potatoes)
- salt to taste

- 1 bay leaf

+ when serving, green onions optional

Friends, the soup turns out thick, rich, satisfying, with one pleasant drawback - the drawback is that it ends quickly, because after one bowl everyone said “More!!!”
