+This is a watercolor painting demonstration recorded in real-time. In this video, I cover intention, interpretation, formatting, composition, values, drawing, the effects of soft lighting, interior views, perspective, etc.

+The scene is an interpretation of an interior courtyard view of an ancient guesthouse in China. We visited a few years ago, and I was so taken with this place. It was my attempt to express my experience of this quiet, contemplative space .
