The stone monument of the Arima clan, which fled from Mino Province (present-day southern Gifu Prefecture) over 900 years ago, is located in the mountainous area of Numata-cho, Asaminami-ku, Hiroshima City. On the way to the site, the scenery looked like an unexplored region with many sights such as Uga Dam, mountain streams, waterfalls, and huge rocks.
When you arrive at the village of Tanbara, there is a large stone monument, and behind it is written, ``The hometown of Tanbara is said to have been the place where the late Arima Vice Admiral Senga no kami lived in secret about 900 years ago, and about 30 families of the Arima clan lived there. It is engraved with ``I lived...''.
We are passing on to future generations the achievements of our ancestors who lived in this area.
