Built in 1881 by General Elisha Marshall, the 14-room Victorian, towering over Palmerton, Carbon County, is now for sale, at $375,000.

"The privacy, the view, I would imagine that has to be a big selling point?" I asked Chies as we looked over the Lehigh River and Blue Mountains.

"It is," she said. Chies admits time has taken its toll. The home has been vacant since April 2014.

"What I'm going to say for the DIY this is going to be a huge challenge for them," Chies said.
