Today we are going to talk about some medications that make you urinate the extra glucose, the ones that we call SGLT2 inhibitors. These medications are being used a lot for type 2 diabetes lately. There are a few of these SGLT2 inhibitors. They are Canagliflozin (Invokana®), Dapagliflozin (Farxiga®), Empagliflozin (Jardiance®), and some others.
