A highlight for many aviation enthusiasts is the annual Duxford Battle of Britain Air Show - a show which will guarantee multiple Spitfires and Hurricanes and produce sights not seen anywhere else in the world with the likes of the 'Duxford Big Wing' formation finale.

Being in September, the show is one of the UK's last major air displays of the year. As a result, it also attracts a lot of involvement from the Royal Air Force including the F-35B Lightning, in its first year as a role demonstration team, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight's Avro Lancaster, the RAF Tutor Display, the RAF Typhoon Display and the RAF Falcons (not seen on the Saturday due to an unserviceable aircraft).

One very notable highlight to point out was the return to the UK air show circuit for the world's sole airworthy example of the Swedish-built Saab B 17A dive bomber. The aircraft is now in the hands of the Swedish Air Force Historic Flight and was last in the UK for the Flying Legends Air Show in 2005. It was fantastic to see this unique aircraft back in UK and what a display it was!
