My wife and I spent this Easter travelling to Birmingham to watch a classical concert. Therefore, I took this opportunity to briefly drive around Birmingham on Good Friday. I certainly did not expect this little traffic going around the second biggest city in England. (the UK, even)

Birmingham is currently undergoing a heck of a redevelopment in its city centre. The hotel we stayed at (Copthorne Hotel, Birmingham) was totally surrounded within the construction area, and hence the room price dropped drastically - But we had a pleasant, quiet stay at this four-star hotel!
