This is my first jam video in several years. For this I tried to go back to the feel and aesthetic of the Blackpool era videos, particularly drawing inspiration from Blackpool 2010. I hope I succeeded.
I don't have a lot of emphasis on moves here - as for me, they are secondary. The most important aspect of my week in New York was spending time with friends; old and new. I was able to catch up with people I've known for years. I was able to finally meet people I've known online for a decade, and I was able to make some new friends, too!
I had far too much footage - and some of it I simply couldn't include. I've tried to collect the best, funniest and most relevant pieces of footage in this video. Maybe, in the future, I might release some more, because honestly, what I saw through my camera over this week was pure gold.
Hopefully this will make you a little bit nostalgic, happy, inspired or excited. It never fails to bring a huge smile to my face.
Thanks for a fantastic week in New York - and hope to see everyone again soon!
If you weren't there - you did miss out, BUT, hopefully, this video will make you feel that you're there with us for 8 minutes. Play it full screen a hundred times and it'll maybe feel like you were there for the weekend. Maybe.
I really hope you enjoy this video.
PS: Thanks to my friend Donald Chung for coming up with the excellent title. It really is great.
