I was inspired by Herman Beeftink's album "Water" when I was composing this piece. Though I lack the technical prowess of Beeftink (I'm only an amateur pianist), the ideas there, I believe, still evoke something that Beeftink himself would compose.

This was a composition that I had been sitting on for a while now, but never actually got around to recording it. I composed it by hand on my keyboard and then went about the process of writing it down as sheet music. But instead of recording it myself afterwards, I just let Musescore 3 (God, Musescore 3 seems like a century ago) do the process of exporting it as an audio file. Though Musescore 3's export sounded good, it was never going to sound as good as actually sitting down and physically playing it. No export function on music notation software is going to be anywhere near as expressive as a person. I decided today, the day I arrived back from a vacation on a cruise ship (haha very fitting) to sit down and record it!

Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy it! Be on the lookout for more music!
:D
