Juvenile Jack Crevalles like to hit the shallows close to the mangroves. I've caught them before around the same area. At first, I thought it was big red, then a snook because of its yellowish tail body. Once closed to the boat, I was like, oh wow, It's a jack.
They put up a fight like no other fish out there.
