So setting this all up...
Simply create the MIDI pattern you need to use as your trigger for enveloping. Then create a group of external instruments that send the MIDI information to the tracks you need to envelop. Make sure you have the LFO Tool on these tracks because that's what receives the MIDI information from the trigger track.
