We have just disembarked the HAL Noordam on a beautiful day in Vancouver, CA… so why are we stuck here??

Even though we are experiencing gorgeous weather in Canada, a hurricane is preventing us from flying home! We had driven to Houston, TX for direct flights on this trip… and a hurricane is heading straight for the city so all flights have been canceled!

But we are making the best of it and booked two nights in a hotel near the port.

So now, off to Grouse Mountain! This is such a fun place and I wanted to take Sophia there! We had a great day hiking, taking the tram around the mountain, looking for bears, seeing snow in summer, and so much more! And of course, we had to have Canadian treats! Poutine and Beavertails are always awesome!!
