Popular long-running comedy series Last of the Summer Wine was filmed in and around Holmfirth and Marsden, Yorkshire. Visitors can stop by Nora Batty's house and steps. Ivy's cafe is now a real cafe in the center of Holmfirth. At nearby Jackson's Bridge is the White Horse pub and the homes of Howard, Pearl and Clegg which are visible from a lookout. Auntie Wainwrights shop (now a private house) is in the picturesque village of Marsden.
