Hello subscribers and friends,

I wish I could say this is Kevin, but we have been stricken with unimaginable tragedy that we still cannot believe and comprehend. He drowned on a beautiful, calm day even though he is a healthy, strong swimmer. He was fishing with a friend who was in a different boat and his GPS showed he stayed close to shore the entire time. We will never know why he was suddenly overboard. Our hearts are broken as we have lost a beloved family member, a generous partner/friend, a kind stranger, a passionate fisherman and talented self-taught photographer/videographer.

Let's continue to give him love through this video and channel... We will sorely miss his humour, fishing education, generosity, and the sound of his laughter and excitement... Much thanks to Kim and Alex who helped make this tribute compilation from his existing video/audio work.

His close friends created a gofundme page to help with funeral expenses. If there are excess funds, they will be used towards a proposed annual fishing derby in memory of Kevin, to help promote boating safety, and other memorial activities. https://www.gofundme.com/BFSCKevin

Thank you to all his faithful followers and supporters through the years. He always looked forward to making videos for you and I was always astonished by his skill, passion, and patience for youtube creation, with his numerous cameras, drones, and countless hours of editing.
