A rare non-aviation video from Speedtapefilms!

In October 2021, SpeedtapeFilms hosted a Jazz studio session with a legendary Philly Jazz "Organ Trio" featuring: Steve Giordano Sr. (Guitar), Dave Posmontier (Hammond B3), and Bob Shomo (Drums). The tracks were recorded by engineer Brendan McGeehan at the "Retro City Studios" in the Germantown section of Philadelphia for use in Cockpit Casual videos. The tracks were then combined into an LP titled "The Germantown Session".

The "Organ Trio" is a classic Jazz accompaniment which utilizes the Hammond B3 organ as both a melodic instrument and as bass. It's one of my favorite combinations. Giordano, Posmontier, and Shomo are "old school" Jazz legends in Philly and this session was amazing to watch.
