Take a glimpse into the incredibly busy world of the Executive Director of the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute, Professor Jason Kovacic.

He manages to head two labs – at the Institute’s HQ in Sydney and at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, is a cardiologist at St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney, and heads the Institute which has more 200 scientists conducting collaborative innovative research into the world’s biggest killer.

Every day he’s driven by the need to discover new ways to tackle heart disease and inspire others to follow in his footsteps.
