Soul... reunited?

Below the original location of part 1, there's a glass door. One of the split miniature versions of the departed runs through the glass, unlocks the door, jumps back through, opens the door and runs through, closes the door, locks it, then runs away. The grey character arrives and uses the convenient hole in the glass to unlock the door. They then walk through, and spot the soul fracture, which they then catch. They return, having collected all of the lost pieces, and return the urn to the shelf. It then falls, causing the ashes of the dearly departed to spill out.
