“Extra’s” Renee Bargh recently caught up with Sofía Vergara, Ty Burrell and Eric Stonestreet on the set of “Modern Family.”

While shooting a basement scene with Sofia and Ty, Eric shared, “This is a fun combo. People that watch the show don’t realize that we all don’t get to work with each other.”

In the scene, the trio is trapped in a basement and have to figure out a way to escape.

The three stars also shared their plans for hiatus after wrapping up the ninth season.

“Modern Family” airs Wednesday nights on ABC.
